“On December 19, 2013, the conceptual lifestyle brand Kigi Life presented ‘Light from the North’ – a tribute to the effectiveness of the Scandinavian lifestyle and quality of life, in collaboration with United Nations Cultural Consultant Montgomery Taylor and Fashion Guru Aurora Aquino. The event, which was hosted at Scandinavia House, showcased the paintings of Danish artist Hanne Støvring, Swedish artist Magdalena Denker, and New York City artist Jason Potvin as well as food and drinks from the farm-to-table restaurant group Smörgås Chef. Guests from various cultural backgrounds enjoyed an evening of art, sustainable cuisine, and personal connection”
