Cleaner And Healthier Skin in 7 Easy Steps

Do you want cleaner and healthier skin?  Of course!

Being exposed to so many pollutants, toxins and just plain old grime, that cleaner skin is not just a nice thing to want, it’s a must if we want a glowing and radiant complexion.

Here are 7 Steps to get the skin complexion of your dreams:

Step 1:  Drink plenty of water. It is a fact that 90% of us do not drink enough water. For your skin cells to function, heal and detox properly, we need to drink 8-12 glasses of water every day. Our skin is one of our most important organs as it works tirelessly to protect us. Let’s have a drink, shall we?

Step 2:  Get proper sleep. Not getting the proper 8-10 hours of sleep per day will first show in your skin in the form of broken capillaries, puffiness, and circles under the eye. Do you want that? No? I thought so.

Step 3:  Eat well. Get proper nutrition. Too much junk food can cause or worsen skin issues. Well-balanced meals have been proven to help alleviate spikes in skin problems and also help to diminish outbreaks such as acne vulgaris and other unwanted problems.

Step 4:  Take vitamins to supplement your skin and body. We can’t always make sure we get 100% of each vitamin and mineral with the foods we eat, but we can take a multivitamin once a day. My favorite multivitamin is actually a tall glass of fresh green juice.

Step 5:  Take care of your skin with a 2x per day cleaning ritual that includes you using a cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Enough said.

Step 6:  Don’t smoke. Smoking puts years on you. Literally, smoking can add 10 years to the look of your skin. Why would you want to do that?

Step 7:  Treat yourself to a spa treatment regularly.  You can do it yourself or go to a spa, your choice.  Skin peels, TCA peels, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, etc., will all energize and heal your skin.
