Our Stylists

Michael D. Burke

After years as a stylist, master colorist and salon manager, Michael opened Hair Craft Salon in 2007. His goal was to create a comfortable, relaxed, yet professional environment which seemed lacking in many other salons. In addition to a BA in Interior Design and a cosmetology degree from the Capri Institute of Hair Design, Michael has taken workshops by Nick Arrojo, Smith-Grieve Accademia , Blow Pro, and Wahl. His specialty is corrective color and he has attended master classes in color given by Matrix, Redken, and L’Oreal.

Jill Forster Robertazzi

Jill is a member of the National Cosmetology Association keeping up with the current trends in color, cutting, and make-up. She has done platform presentations to introduce new techniques to other professionals. She is trained in razor and scissor cutting, as well as traditional barbering. Her work has been featured in Modern Salon as well as the cover of their Texture stylist supplement and continues to work with photographers and models on photo shoots in and around the NYC area. As a bridal stylist Jill custom designs updos and offers traditional make-up as well as air-brush application to produce a flawless photo-ready look for weddings and other special occasions.

Albertina "Betty" Faraci

Betty came to Hair Craft in August 2008, after many years working at “Hair, Etc.” on Clifton Avenue. Having worked in some of North Jersey’s most stylish salons for over 40 years, Betty brings a traditional “wash and set” point of view not found in many local salons. Her devoted following has kept her busy for many years. Born in Italy, Betty now lives in Totowa, and is proud to be the mother of two daughters and grandmother of four.
